Certainly!
* In a document, choose Create > MeshSourceScript
* Load one of the sample mesh source scripts - share/scripts/MeshSourceScript/point_groups.py is a good example.
* Modify the script to read your file format using Python.

K3d builds again, just tired r1427, building r1430 atm. I’ll take this opportunity to ask where i can post/upload some material, like shaders, example scenes, renderings, etc.. ?

You are welcome to upload new materials to the wiki, or if you think they would be useful examples for inclusion with the program, you can put them in the appropriate share/ directory and send us a patch.

I don’t know why i haven’t seen this post before. Nice Head! As it is, is ready for the gallery or the screenshot gallery.
Also if you would like to make tutorials for K-3D you are welcome. (videos or script recorded, i recommend video, if you are in linux you should use ffmpeg)
Also, you may want to subscribe to the k3d_development mailing list and make any other suggestion you find useful.
