Charactermodeling in K-3D

Hi, i'm the new one here.
I know K-3D since a few years, but i've decided to use Blender at this time. Now i have 2 years work experience in Blender, but now i want to use K-3D, too, because i've seen some very nice features in it. I want to make a character base mesh in K-3D for the first time. I will give you my report, soon.
Thanks for reading and have a nice day ;)
Greetings

Basics

Hi Bart.
I'm sorry, but i must say that i just learned some basics in K-3D. Shortcuts doesn't exists for extrusion and some other basics. Well, i will try it again, but i can't promise that i can finish the basic mesh.

Hi Siris,

Hi Siris,

You can edit the shortcuts using the "assign hotkeys" command from the edit menu at the top. This allows you to assign a key for extrude by going to the modify->mesh->ExtrudeFaces menu item, for example.

assign hotkeys

Hi Bart and thanks for the post about this function.
It's nice to hear that K3D have this. One question: Which function allows me to create a face from 2 edges? Thanks.

Hi Siris,

Hi Siris,

This should be possible using the BridgeEdges plugin (from Mesh->Modify or using the right-click menu).

Cheers,

Bart
