Hello Everyone,
For the last 5 yrs I have been planning out a city for a non profit humanitarian project that I am working on. I thought it might be a good idea to use software like K-3D to create a visual for the proposed city, and certain components of it. Would K-3D be up to the task?
I currently know very little about this 3D stuff, but convinced I can learn it.

Hi Steve,
I'm very new to K-3D, but have worked with various arch/engineering CAD programs for a few years.
If you are conceptualizing a city's general massing/street layout, etc., then I think K-3D can do what you want.
What level of detail do you need to create? Stairs, openings, complex roofs, accurately dimensioned buildings?
Another option may be Google's Sketchup, which is often used for modeling rough cityscapes.
