I'm new to this K-3D app so I have lots of questions but the first one has to do with seeing a preview and rendering. When I select Preview from the Render menu I get a dialog saying "Choose a render engine to be used for preview image rendering".
"RenderMan Engine" is what shows. When I click OK I get another dialog that says "You must choose the specific RenderMan implementation to use with this render engine".
What am I supposed to do to get this up and running? I have been looking for directions from the web site on what to do but can't see anything.
I am working with 0.8.0.2 on Ubuntu 11.01. I just installed K-3D last Thursday. I am an artist/designer and not an engineer. I have been looking for something usable to help with some sculpture model ideas and this one looked like it might be the easiest to work with. That is it for starters.
