Hi, I have a ploblem running k3d in Win Xp Pro SP3. I can't get to work neither lastest binary packages (0.8.0.2) nor oldest ones. When I'm starting k3d it appears in process manager and fully eats one of the cpu cores and 6mb of ram but no windows/ui appears. I'll provide more info if it's needed and if somebody tells me how to get it (I mean logs that k3d or something like that). Python 2.4 is istalled, other dependecies comes in packege iirc. Thanks.

I had followed "/Troubleshooting_DLLs" guide but still no luck for me

Even if the problem isn't a DLL, you should have some output from dependencywalker that would be helpful ... ?

According to DW there was four dlls missing: ncrypt.dll, bcrypt.dll, ieshims.dll and wer.dll. I had googled them all and placed into the /bin dir.

Ok, so problem was in cyrrilic symbols in the user profile folder. Maybe that's going to help to somebody. About that missing dlls looks like it's not necessary to place it there because all of it are delayed load and some of it is specific to win 7 platform.
