I don’t think any formal requirements are laid out. All we have is the wiki, where many good ideas and to-do lists are floating around. Can you provide some more detail of what you would like to do?

Since you seem to have a clear idea of what you’d like to do, I encourage you to create a K-3D wiki account at

Once that’s done, you can create a wiki page with a prototype of your idea, or upload a sample file. We use the Wiki for all persistent communication across the team, so we’d be asking you to use the wiki under any circumstances.
