rib files, what is that

I think ribs are the files that aqsis uses to produce a render,
when I use render frame or render animation I do not get any file
but with render preview i do not have any problem.
How can I get the output file to use with other programs?
I have seen that some tiff file must be saved, but i can not find it.
I am an windows xp user.

Make sure you’re running an up-to-date version of K-3D, a problem with saving images and animations on Win32 was fixed in 0.6.2.0.
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I saw the developers corner last night.. Pretty much anything I could want was there. Can’t wait to see K-3D progress, it’s a great app.
