how to export into Blender .raw, .3ds or .ac?

Dear k3d devs,
you made the first 3d program i really find intuitive to use.
Here is a small question, i hope you can point me to an answer:
I need to construct very simple 3D opjects for use with the 3d-engine http://www.qcake.org.
This engine accepts .3ds and .ac format.
I know that Blender can export those formats and import .raw from K3d.
However if i try to make a simple cube in K3d and export it to Blender (using the .raw format),
blender can’t read it.

Hi Horst!
Mi advice would be using .obj as a interchange format between blender and k-3d.
I guess your are using k-3d 0.6.7 or 0.6.6.
Go to Create > GeometryWriter > OBJMeshOutput
The connect the ouput_mesh of your mesh instance to the input_mesh of this node.
Select the file name, and you are done!
I have tested it, seems the .obj gets rotated 90 degrees
Try to test 0.7 if you can.

We look forward for your feedback!
Cheers!

Hi Horst,
Thanks for your kind comments. I have just committed an AC3D (.ac) export script to the K-3D 0.7 SVN trunk. You can use it from Create->Scripts->AC3DWriter if you compile from SVN.
Cheers,
Bart
