How to create a mirror-image copy of object

This message was originally posted by bigteks on 03/01/2008 08:42:20
I’m pretty new - I know how to do very basic stuff - create polygons, move points and lines, dissolve, stuff like that. I’m learning how to use the modifiers and adjust object properties. I’m working in 2-D right now by setting the view to orthogonal and +Z, which works great as long as I’m careful with the XY move selecter (sometimes if I click the wrong place near an XY-mover-selected-point it throws the point into the Z plane and I’m not sure why but I can usually tell when that happens and undo).
Anyway, I’ve got a stretched out polydisk I would like to mirror. Is there a straightforward way to do this?

The 0.7 binary has just been uploaded to our sourceforge page. The .exe is all you need, it contains all external dependencies, and installs everything into the K-3D directory.

If you are running on windows XP, there is an 0.7.1.0 installer available that contains the AC3D export script. For other platforms, you can try the source package or SVN. Let us know if you need help in getting K-3D to build!

Bart
