Material Manager Crash

This has probably already been reported but I could'nt see it in the forum and I am still too much of a k3D tourist to know where the prefered bugtracker is, just checking the improvements from times to times. The program is starting to get more stable at startup now. Except the following:
If I try to change any of the window to a Material Manager, it crashes.
I'm using Windows XP SP3 on a Pentium 4M laptop with ATI mobility radeon 7500 and 760 Mo of RAM.

Material Manager Crash

We appreciate the feedback; this is a known issue, we hope to fix or replace the material manager by the October release:

I assume you're building from source? We disabled the material manager in the most recent release due to this issue ...
Cheers,
Tim

Material Manager Crash

Hi Gumir,
Yes, old thread, but thanks anyway for reminding us. I had a quick look, and the good news is this happens in linux as well, and it was extremely easy to fix. The update is in the mercurial repository at sourceforge.
Unfortunately, until I find the time to build new windows binaries, it requires building K-3D from source, which I can only recommend doing on linux for now, since setting up a windows build environment is a major pain (and I have to redo it after upgrading).
Regards,
Bart
