How do I configure K3D?

Wanted to know how to solve an issue I get after I've installed K3D 0.8 on Ubuntu Precise, via Synaptic. Whenever I hit an help button, it complains there is no application configured for the URL, while I have two browsers installed. I could not find any K3D configuration menu to tell K3D a browser is installed and which one to use.
Similarly, I was looking for a configuration option to tell K3D to save the UI layout. Each time I restart K3D, the UI layout is restored in its default state, and does not seems to be save globally nor on a file basis.

Hi,
Normally, this used to respect the desktop settings for Gnome and KDE. My guess is that whatever we did is deprecated now and this is a bug I need to fix.
I'll have to experiment a little with the GUI myself to see what's the problem there, I'll keep you posted.
I've created these as the first issues on our github page:

Cheers,
Bart

How do I configure K3D?

I will bookmark the github page. Will have to tell people about this github tracker (I will tell on a french Ubuntu forum for a start).
Another issue, not related to K3D, but to the forum: when I posted the original message of this thread, I saw the title alone and no message. I can see what you quoted from my message in your message, but still not my original message (see attached screen‑shot). Similarly, I posted a question in another already opened thread, but the message never appears (I was logged‑in).

Yes, sorry, that was me trying to combat the spam that we get here. Supposedly, I should have been able to approve posts, but I never found a way to make your post go through, so I just blockquoted it and turned off the moderation plugin again.
I'm looking into updating the whole site to something newer, either a new Wordpress or Drupal. Any suggestions and/or help on this subject is more than welcome :)
Cheers,
Bart
