K-3D 0.8 , k3d" does not exist.

I can't build K3-D in pclinuxos system.
[gg3@localhost k3d]$ mkdir k3d-build
[gg3@localhost k3d]$ cd k3d-build
[gg3@localhost k3d-build]$ cmake ../k3d
CMake Error: The source directory "/home/gg3/Downloads/k3d/k3d" does not exist.
Specify --help for usage, or press the help button on the CMake GUI.
And this command I use from:
http://developer.k-3d.org/
(sorce I downloaded from git command)
Any suggestions?

Hi,
It seems there is a mixup with the directories. Did you cd into the k3d directory after downloading with git? If you ran the git command in ~/Downloads, then your source code will be in ~/Downloads/k3d and your build directory should be ~/Downloads/k3d-build
Cheers,
Bart

So the command how it should look in my case, if I downloaded in " ~/Downloads/k3d " ?
I use now:
ccmake ~/k3d
from: http://www.k-3d.org/wiki/CMake_Build
Where " ~/k3d " it is my path for folder /k3d , in my case is "ccmake ~/Downloads/k3d" ,
and this working.
But command commands looks different
cmake ../k3d , ccmake ~/k3d

OK, to be a little clearer:
- the build directory can be anywhere on your system, and can be named whatever you want.
- On the first build, cd to the build directory you created, and then run cmake-gui
- I recommend using cmake-gui rather than ccmake, it is a much nicer interface
