I have both K3D and The Gimp. The Gimp works perfectly, K3D shows ò€±ò€±ò€±ò€±ò€±ò€±ò€± everywhere :( I have never had this trouble with any other software, and I've tried virtually every free 3D software there is!

This issue should be resolved starting with K-3D 0.6.2.0, which now includes its own private copy of GTK/gtkmm. Get the latest installer at K-3D Downloads Tshead 08:38, 26 Sep 2006 (MDT)

Still have this problem with v 0.6.3

I just tried installing version 0.6.3 and got the illustrated problem (characters all displaying as rectangles). This is my first install of K3D but I have used the Gimp successfully for several years.

Same weirdness on 0.6.4.0 -non XP installs

Suspect problem is with non Win XP installations. Empty block problem observed on 98, 98SE and ME systems. Loading international language support did not remedy on these machines. Reminds of similar problem in older Office Word 97. FWIW - No problems (yet) on XP Home (sp2) (sp1) or XP Pro (sp1) (sp2). At least not for the installer. Still playing. Will try gtk 2.6.10 and see if that clears it up.
